Are you playful?

Playing Isn’t Just for Kids

If work is a serious, doom & gloom sort of place, we doubt it’s a space of creativity, high retention, or growth.

“Research has found evidence that play at work is linked with less fatigue, boredom, stress, and burnout in individual workers. Play is also positively associated with job satisfaction, sense of competence, and creativity.” (psychologicalscience.org, 2017)

Here are some simple ways to invite play into the workspace.

  • Find a common interest with your colleagues- Bond over your common interests.

  • Add a board game or two to your break room- See what happens.

  • Play Virtual Catan.

  • Celebrate employee birthdays and milestones
